Symposium Hotel – the Slieve Russell Hotel
We encourage all Symposium participants to stay at the meeting venue, the Slieve Russell Hotel. A very good rate has been negotiated with the Hotel and, because the meeting is in a rural location, other nearby accommodation options are limited.
We have reserved a block booking of 200 bedrooms in the Slieve Russell Hotel from Sunday 8th May 2022 to Friday 13nd May 2022 (5 nights). The agreed Bed & Breakfast rate per night is €90.00 single occupancy or €55.00 per person sharing. When you register for the Symposium you will receive a promotional code that unlocks these rates.
Children aged 3 and under are free, and children aged 4-16 staying in the same room as their parents are charged at €20 per night B&B.
All accommodation bookings must be made ONLINE – the hotel will not be accepting reservations via telephone or email.
How to book my bedroom:
- Visit www.slieverussell.ie
- Under ‘Check Availability’ click Promotional Code
- Under ‘Check in date’ input arrival date (from 8th May), select number of nights and type in the Promotion Code that you received after registration. Click ‘Continue’ button.
- If you require additional nights at the hotel outside of the conference dates please state in the special requirements box of your booking and the hotel will contact you to arrange.
- Select Bedroom Type (if you require a twin room, ie: 2 beds, ensure you select a twin room) and click green ‘BOOK NOW‘ button
- Please note: bedroom types are subject to what is available at the time of your booking. We cannot accommodate any requests for particular bedroom types: please select from what is available at the time of booking
- Choose 2 adults or 1 adult (THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP TO ENSURE THE CORRECT RATE IS CHARGED)
- If you have any special requirements eg: additional people/children in your bedroom (additional charges will apply) – please note this in the ‘Personalise your stay’ box and the hotel will contact you to discuss.
- Book the bedroom in the name of the guest staying (or lead guest if booking a twin or double room) – you may enter the second person’s name in the ‘Personalise your stay’ box
- Click green box ‘Continue‘ button to complete your reservation
- The only package available to book is Bed & Breakfast
- If you need to book more than one bedroom, please do each reservation separately
- Credit card details are required to secure the booking: please note in the event of a cancellation within 7 days of the arrival date this is the card that will be used for cancellation costs
- Confirmation of the reservation will be sent via email – please check Spam/Junk folders if you do not receive into your inbox
The above rates are guaranteed until Sun 27th March 2022 – to avail of these discounted rates please ensure your bedroom is booked by this date. Bookings received after the 27th March 2022 will be subject to availability and standard rates at the time of the booking.
